EDUPALL Consortium meets in Aachen

The 2nd consortium meeting of EDUPALL Project took place from the 11th to 13th of June 2018 in Aachen, Germany.

The overall aim of this ERASMUS Plus supported project is to develop a standardized curriculum for undergraduate medical students in palliative care. The curriculum model approved by the European Association for Palliative Care will be available in Romanian, English and German language.

During the 2nd consortium meeting in Aachen the final format of the model curriculum was approved. The participants agreed on the translation process of the curriculum into Romanian and German, on preparation of set of resources for academic staff, on the online component of the curriculum, as well as on the planning for short-time courses for academic staff.

The partners of this project come from eight medical universities across Romania, the RWTH Aachen University Clinic in Germany, The All Ireland Institute in Dublin, Ireland, The Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg, Austria, The Atlantes research programme at the University of Navarra in Spain, The University of Liverpool in England, and the European Association for Palliative Care. 

This international project is now well into its first of three years.  

The next consortium meeting will be held in Dublin, Ireland in November 2018.
