The four interconnected objectives of the ERASMUS+ NursEduPal Project
Defining European common core competencies in palliative care and producing a report endorsed by international experts
Developing innovative education tools for palliative care education to transfer these competencies and creating a European matrix to facilitate their introduction into the Nursing education curricula
Training educators on working with the European matrix and the innovative education tools
Connecting European educators in palliative care in the virtual showroom to enable collaborative interactions.
The PMU team has the following responsibilities in the NursEduPal@Euro project:
- To co-lead in the development of performance assessment and (self)reflection tools for each of the innovative teaching methodologies (strategy effect measurements) to evaluate the acquisition of Palliative Care Core Competencies including spiritual care;
- To review the training materials and support and strengthen the partnership for influencing policy;
- To disseminate the results globally via the Global Network of World Health Organization Collaborating Centers for Nursing and Midwives.
